Department of Mongolian Language and Social Sciences

Mission: Our department is working to prepare teachers who have speaking and writing cultures, who can use their education of native language creatively in different environments of social communication, who have high feelings of word arts beauty, who are proud of their native language and who have skills to develop the language keeping its safe.

The Humanities Department was established as the Mongolian Language and Literature Department in 1991, and has benefitted the school to prepare the Mongolian language and literature teachers in central, eastern and western provinces of Mongolia since that time. Until now, we have prepared over 580 teachers during 14 graduation training. The head of the department is B.Munkhtuya nat the moment. The first department head was Ts.Rinchinkhorloo and P.Bold, Ts.Natsagdorj, Ts.Oyunchimeg had worked after him. The department has widened becoming Humanities Dapartment in 2014 and has 2 doctors, 6 teachers at doctoral training and 3 master teachers.

Besides official training, the department holds clubs like Literature Club “Egshiglen”, Gothic Writing Club, Club of Arts of Presentation, and English Speaking Club to spend students’ free time effectively and to discover their talents and skills. Students who attend to clubs write their report and have exhibits at the end of the year showing their learning and experiences.
