Mission: Our mission is to prepare teachers who have high culture of communication who respect their history, culture, traditions and customs, and who have appropriate skills of mind, art and sport.
The department was established in 1991 with the name Education Study Department connected with school structure and organization at that time. It was widened becoming Primary Education Department in 2009, General Academic Department in 2010, and Primary Education Department in 2014. Now S.Bayanmunkh /MA/, senior and public best teacher, is the head of the department. The department holds its activities dividing into groups of social studies, fine arts and technology, music, physical education, and sports.
It has 8 full-time teachers: 4 public best teachers and 2 best teachers in physical education and sports. There are 285 primary education teacher’s students in the department in the years 2017-2018. The students come from 15 provinces in the west and central areas and 94,3% of the tem are female.
Experienced teachers in the department teach general academic and professional basic courses, professional didactics of primary education, and professional elective courses. And also, they manage and organize all upbringing and cultural, arts and sports activities among students. Students’ autumn sports competitions and arts competitions like “Talented Students in Arts”, “Golden Autumn”, “Students’ Theatre” and “Golden Hometown” are held every year. We have 8 clubs to develop and support students’ talents and they include over 150 students who are developing their talents and skills.
The value of our department is to support and widen students’ talents and success through their “Talent-Skill-Methodology”.
